Morgan Stanley – Sustainable Investing Challenge

How can finance help solve global challenges?

Kellogg, INSEAD, and Morgan Stanley are pleased to announce the 2015 Morgan Stanley Sustainable Investing Challenge. The Morgan Stanley Sustainable Investing Challenge is a pitch competition that asks graduate students to develop an institutional-quality investment vehicle that aims to achieve positive environmental or social impact as well as competitive financial returns.  It will take place at Morgan Stanley’s offices in London on April 17, 2015.

To participate, teams are asked to submit a 2-page prospectus [1]outlining an institutional-quality investment vehicle and the issue it addresses by February 25, 2015. Ten finalist teams will then be chosen by March 13, 2015 and flown to London for the finals event on April 17, 2015, where they will pitch their idea to a panel of judges comprised of recognized leaders in the sustainable investing arena. $15,000 of total prize money will be awarded.

We encourage teams to form early and begin working on their ideas. Teams can request a mentor [2]through January 28, 2015. All other questions or requests for assistance should be sent to contact@sustainableinvestingchallenge.org [3].
