This weekly pitch slam is an invaluable resource for early stage entrepreneurs, a forum for engaging the entrepreneurial community, promoting your startup, and at best securing an investment from our Investors in Residence Vitamina K and Wayra.  The Venture Network is unique in that it is a very informal gathering where startups can meet investors in an informal setting over beers and snacks and focus on what’s important; building relationships.  The Venture Network is a great way to perfect your pitch, get feedback on your product, and meet the local startup community.

Our expert system of nutritional recommendation offering personalized diets performed automatically, in order to save 95% of the time currently used for nutrition, health and sport professionals.

Moisés Martínez, Cuéntica

Cuéntica is a cloud based finance management SaaS for SMB’s, freelancers and professionals who don’t know about accounting. The services available in Cuéntica include, easy invoicing and expense management, smart recommendations for better tax deduction management, and it covers all the tax and accounting need of the business at a low price.  Cuéntica’s users’ are supported by eConsultores, a accountancy with over 20 years experience working with professionals and SMBs.

Héctor Mateus, Chevere.org

Chevere.org is a Latin American Social Network for Companies and Entrepreneurs based in Europe.

Our mission is to provide a link to Latin America and we invite you to use our platform to promote your company, create a forum, group or blog, publicise a campaign or advertise your events or products. Este Pitch Slam de presentaciones cortas ante un tribunal de inversores, es un recurso fantástico para los emprendedores en fase inicial, es un foro para que la comunidad emprendedora pueda  promocionar su startup, recibir feedback de la comunidad y de un tribunal experto  y buscar inversión, quizás de nuestros inversores colaboradores habituales Vitamina K y Wayra.  El Venture Network es un encuentro único donde pueden quedar startups con inversores en un ambiente informal, tomando una cervezas y aperitivos centrándose en lo importante, el networking. El Venture Network es una gran manera de perfeccionar su terreno de juego, obtener información sobre su producto y conocer a la comunidad startup.

Cuéntica es un software  en la nube de gestión y de recomendaciones para pymes autónomos y profesionales que no saben contabilidad. Los servicios (SaaS) incluyen  recomendaciones inteligentes  para la gestión y cubre las obligaciones contables y fiscales del negocio a muy bajo precio y con el soporte de profesionales con  veinte años de experiencia en gestión de pymes.

Chevere.org Red Social Latinoamericana de Empresarios y Emprendedores desde Europa, Esta plataforma pretende ser el nexo con Latinoamérica, invitamos a que promueva su empresa, cree un foro, grupo, blog, campaña; promocionemos la belleza de nuestros territorios, los productos y los eventos, conectemos con otras redes sociales e interactuemos de forma chévere en lo que nos une.

Valigo.es es un servicio online de reclutamiento y presentación profesional mediante vídeo, dirigida tanto a personas demandantes de empleo, como a empresas reclutadoras. Valigo ofrece a las empresas una herramienta que permite descubrir las competencias profesionales de las personas, evaluar y compartir las entrevistas, y conocer eficientemente a los candidatos. Valigo facilita a los usuarios un entorno amigable para grabar, publicar, y difundir su perfil profesional.

During the month of January, Area 31 selected 22 exciting start-ups to participate in its new Alumni Startup Incubator. “The selection process was extremely difficult, as there are so many talented entrepreneurs in the IE ecosystem. I was very pleasantly surprised by both the number and the quality of the applications received,” said Conchita Galdón, Director Area 31 and Venture Lab Operations Manager.

The start-ups come from many diverse areas, both offline and online, including Social Entrepreneurship, IT (including crowdsourcing websites and mobile apps), Renewable Energy, Health and Beauty and many others. For six months, these teams will be able to work in and use Area 31 (and all related resources) to advance their projects.

As part of its official kick-off to this initiative, on 6 February 2013, Area 31 invited the members of all selected teams to network and discuss best practices for potential collaboration. Each team had the opportunity to share their projects and get feedback on their implementation strategies. From the start of the event, it was clear that there were many like-minded people in the room eager to get to know about each other better. Since Area 31 is an open working space, an open attitude is essential to being able to work together effectively and peacefully.  So each team was invited to reflect on how to make Area 31 their own and how to exploit it fully. Having sowed the seeds for fruitful collaboration, the teams did not stop networking even when it was announced that the kick-off session was officially over!

Durante el mes de enero, se seleccionaron 22 nuevas empresas que participarán en la nueva incubadora para startups de antiguos alumnos en Área 31. «El proceso de selección fue muy difícil, ya que hay tantos emprendedores con talento en el ecosistema de IE. Fue una sorpresa muy agradable comprobar el gran número y la calidad de las solicitudes recibidas «, dijo Conchita Galdón, Directora de Área 31.

Estas empresas de nueva creación provienen de diversas áreas, tanto offline como online, incluyendo el Emprendimiento Social, IT (incluyendo sitios web y aplicaciones móviles, crowdsourcing), Energía Renovable, salud y belleza entre otros sectores. Durante seis meses, estos equipos trabajarán en Área 31 y tendrán acceso a las oportunidades que el entorno de IE puede ofrecer para avanzar en sus proyectos.

Como parte del lanzamiento oficial de esta iniciativa, el 6 de febrero de 2013, Área 31 invitó a los miembros de todos los equipos seleccionados para conocerse y discutir opciones de colaboración entre ellos. Cada equipo tuvo la oportunidad de compartir sus proyectos y recibir los comentarios del resto sobre sus estrategias de implementación. Desde el comienzo del evento, estaba claro que la sala estaba llena de personas con inquietudes similares, ansiosos por conocerse y colaborar. Puesto que Área 31 es un espacio de trabajo abierto, una actitud abierta es esencial para poder trabajar juntos de manera efectiva. Así, se invitó a los equipos a reflexionar sobre cómo hacer suyo Área 31, aprovechando al máximo su experiencia en la incubadora. Tras sembrar las semillas de una fructífera colaboración, los equipos no paraban de comentar ideas para trabajar juntos, incluso cuando, a las 9:30pm, se anunció que la sesión ya había terminado!

Axos Connect uses a completely new model to efficiently connect all the user companies to collaborate in the development of their own target markets, increasing their sales.

Trevor Clendenin, GoalSight

GoalSight is a social media integrated community that supports a responsive website and companion mobile app for today’s athletes, coaches, and teams based on proprietary sports psychology techniques and goal-setting methodologies. GoalSight’s processes leverage crowd-sourcing, visualization, and mental rehearsal in a simple multimedia platform designed for the self improvement market.

Rohit Gan, Shirsa

Shirsa is a comprehensive brain health program designed to assess and improve cognitive functions among kids of all ages especially useful for kids between 5-15 age group, through use of interactive, engaging games and exercises.

Through its web platform, Arboribus enables people to directly lend money to trustworthy and well-established small and medium sized companies. A través de una plataforma web, Arboribus permite que personas individuales puedan prestar dinero directamente a pequeñas y medianas empresas solventes que necesitan financiación. A través de una subasta, los inversores eligen a quién, cuánto y qué tipo de interés ofrecen. Arboribus formaliza los contratos, hace el seguimiento y gestiona pagos.

Modelum es una plataforma online que permite compartir las prendas que te llamen la atención con tus amigos y convertirlos en social shoppers. Modelum se utiliza tanto para conseguir una valoración de la ropa por parte de tus colegas como por un selecto grupo de expertos en moda.

Somos una fábrica de apps, hacemos que cualquier persona pueda crearse su propia aplicación móvil.
