This weekly pitch slam is an invaluable resource for early stage entrepreneurs, a forum for engaging the entrepreneurial community, promoting your startup, and at best securing an investment from our Investors in Residence Vitamina K and Wayra. The Venture Network is unique in that it is a very informal gathering where startups can meet investors in an informal setting over beers and snacks and focus on what’s important; building relationships. The Venture Network is a great way to perfect your pitch, get feedback on your product, and meet the local startup community.

«Cumberland Solutions S.L. has developed Weplan, a mobile app aiming to let the users know their best mobile rate plans among the Spanish market. The app helps the users to easily change to their best plans, getting then a fee from the operator that gets each new customer.
At the moment, Weplan has surpassed 30,000 downloads at Google Play and has a 4.6 stars rating (over 5). The company has signed off a collaboration agreement with 2 operators -already paying fees to the company-, and it is under negotiations with 10 more operators. Additionally, the company plans to launch the app in six international makets by 1Q 2013.»

Ibercheck is an on-line service that lets everyday people and small businesses find out whether another person currently has payment delinquencies (unpaid bills) prior to doing business with her. Ibercheck is incredibly useful for something as simple as renting an apartment or providing commercial credit. Ibercheck provides access to the very info banks use for their decision making.

Este Pitch Slam de presentaciones cortas ante un tribunal de inversores, es un recurso fantástico para los emprendedores en fase inicial, es un foro para que la comunidad emprendedora pueda promocionar su startup, recibir feedback de la comunidad y de un tribunal experto y buscar inversión, quizás de nuestros inversores colaboradores habituales Vitamina K y Wayra. El Venture Network es un encuentro único donde pueden quedar startups con inversores en un ambiente informal, tomando una cervezas y aperitivos centrándose en lo importante, el networking. El Venture Network es una gran manera de perfeccionar su terreno de juego, obtener información sobre su producto y conocer a la comunidad startup.

«Cumberland Solutions S.L. ha desarrollado una aplicación móvil, Weplan, con la que ayuda a sus usuarios a averiguar su mejor tarifa de telefonía móvil de entre toda la oferta del mercado español. Facilita al usuario el cambio de compañía, obteniendo una comisión del operador que gana un nuevo cliente.
Actualmente Weplan ha sobrepasado las 30.000 descargas en Google Play y tiene una valoración de 4.6 estrellas sobre 5. La compañía ha firmado ya un acuerdo de colaboración con 2 operadores, al que ya está facturando, y está en negociaciones con otros 10. Adicionalmente, prevé lanzar la aplicación en seis mercados internacionales el primer trimestre de 2013.»
