This weekly pitch slam is an invaluable resource for early stage entrepreneurs, a forum for engaging the entrepreneurial community, promoting your startup, and at best securing an investment from our Investors in Residence Vitamina K and Wayra.  The Venture Network is unique in that it is a very informal gathering where startups can meet investors in an informal setting over beers and snacks and focus on what’s important; building relationships.  The Venture Network is a great way to perfect your pitch, get feedback on your product, and meet the local startup community.

Smart Resorts, through Smartphone and Tablet Apps, tries to evolve the relationship between Hoteliers and guests while they stay at their properties by:
– Offering interactive and real time contextual info.
– Granting Access to available amenities on the property including Bookings, Chat and Premium Services.

Guillermo Muñoz, FaceToFace

The system consists of the use of electronic means, especially Internet, to create a registration of users. This registration will contain a brief profile which will include a baseline data. Any user will be able to propose meetings to any other registered user. These meetings would take place at one of the places previously settled by the system with another registration control of this dates.

– Dar acceso a los clientes a todos los servicios disponibles mediante sistemas de reservas.

Consiste en la creación por medios electrónicos de un sistema de registro de usuarios de ambos sexos en las que se subirá un perfil somero con datos básicos y en los que cualquier usuario podrá proponer a otro suscrito la posibilidad de quedar en los sitios establecidos previamente por el sistema, ubicaciones físicas como puntos de encuentro, con otro registro para llevar su control.

Agile Management for Highly Reactive Companies

During the last decade, Agile methods for software development (including Scrum, eXtreme Programming or Kanban) have raised as the ‘Way To Go’ in order to deal with complex situations such as those faced by technical teams, while also reducing Project Management overhead, delivering fast and frequently to customers, increasing productivity, developing self-organizing teams and creating a new relationship with customers based on collaboration, interactions, feedback and value. But how can we be Agile inside a traditional, heavyweight, bureacratic organization? Are there any clues on the Agile movement that can help business be highly reactive in times of growing complexity and constant change? How con we manage our companies to unleash the talent, creativity and productivity of our teams? This talk will give some insights on how to grow Agile outside the boundaries of the technical team and start thinking on the Agile Enterprise.

SPEAKER’S BACKGROUND

Angel Medinilla is one of the leading Agile & Lean experts in Europe, and he is a frequent speaker at European conferences like XP, Scrum Gathering, Agile Lean Europe, Lean Kanban Europe, Lean Camp…  For the last six years, he has been coaching al sort of companies – including banks, telco, gaming, mobile, consulting, government, e-commerce, startups, dot.coms – all around Europe in their way to implement Agile methods and transform their Corporate Cultures to survive in the 21st century.  His first book, «Agile Management», is already available in Amazon, and he is working on a second book on continuous improvement in Agile companies. He is a Management 3.0 Licensed Trainer and a member of the Agile Alliance.

Mr. Alonso is a surgeon especialized in the study of the brain and the human intelligence. La mañana del 21 de noviembre tendremos una sesión informativa cuyo objetivo es  reunir a emprendedores y representantes claves del sector turístico para conocer y debatir  las diferentes iniciativas de apoyo que se están poniendo en marcha desde la colaboración público/privada.
