On the occasion of the inauguration of Area 31, IE Business School’s new Space for Entrepreneurship and Innovation which will house up to 50 spin-outs and startup companies, as well as events and activities for the entrepreneurial ecosystem, the IE International Center for Entrepreneurial Management cordially invites you to the lecture by the Prime Minister of Finland, Mr. Jyrki Katainen.
 Jyrki Katainen was born in Siilinjarvi, Finland, in 1971. He studied at the University of Tampere. He was first elected to Finland’s parliament in 1999. In 2004 he became the leader of the National Coalition Party. In 2007 he became the Finance Minister of Finland and the Deputy Prime Minister in the April 2011 parliamentary elections; his party, the National Coalition Party, won the largest amount of seats. He was finally able to form a coalition government in June 2011 and subsequently became the new Prime Minister of Finland .
