Join IE Venture Network Thursday, 1^st  March 2012!

The next Venture Network will be run in collaboration with Madrid Science Park – MSP’s task is directed towards consolidating a new productive network based on knowledge and new technologies, innovation, hiring qualified staff, the promotion of state of the art research, and interdisciplinary knowledge.

IE Venture Network has a main objective of providing resources and advice for entrepreneurs and innovation communities. Updated and useful feedback and conversations are one of our main missions in order to create a connection among the initial entrepreneurs and the potential investors and consolidated companies and make future dreams come true. All this in a friendly environment with some drinks and snacks to share it.

The Venture Network will hold a Pitch Slam in which 3 projects will have the opportunity to present their project to investors, including:

• Rafael Garrido, Jaime Amoribieta y Gonzalo Castellano, Vitamina K
• Gary Stewart, Director of Wayra Spain
• Liz Fleming, Deputy Director IE Venture Lab

The three startups that will present their project in 7 minutes will be:

LUCIERNA
Software development company specialized in application performance management solutions. The company has expertise in solutions and services that clearly and briefly identify when, where and why performance problems occur in Java, .Net and PhP environments.

NIMGenetics
Genetic Diagnosis Centre, authorized by the Department of Health of the Region of Madrid, with expertise in the development and application of high-resolution genomic systems for Clinical Diagnosis and the development of Research Projects.

ERA7
Leading bioinformatics company in NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) projects as well as in use of cloud computing (AWS) with a business model based on R&D and open source to manage entire NGS projects.

IE Venture Network will be held every Thursday, from 7pm to 9.30 pm, at María de Molina 7, CP: 28006 Madrid

La próxima edición del Venture Network contamos con la colaboración de Parque Científico de Madrid – La labor del PCM está encaminada a consolidar un nuevo tejido productivo basado en el conocimiento y las nuevas tecnologías, la innovación, la contratación de personal cualificado, el fomento de la investigación de frontera y del conocimiento interdisciplinar.

IE Venture Network tiene como principal objetivo proveer recursos y asesoramiento para emprendedores y la comunidad innovadora. Una de nuestras principales misiones es aportar feedback actualizado y útil para crear una conexión entre los emprendedores incipientes, los potenciales inversores y las empresas consolidadas, para así lograr hacer realidad sueños emprendedores. Todo esto en un ambiente amigable con bebidas y aperitivos.

La empresa es especialista en soluciones y servicios que permiten identificar de forma clara y concisa cuándo, dónde y por qué suceden los problemas de rendimiento en entornos Java, Net y PhP.

NIMGenetics
Centro de Diagnóstico Genético, autorizado por la Consejería de Sanidad de la Comunidad de Madrid, especializado en el desarrollo y aplicación de sistemas genómicos de alta resolución para Diagnóstico Clínico y desarrollo de Proyectos de Investigación.

ERA7
Empresa bioinformática líder en proyectos de NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) y en el uso de Cloud Computing (AWS) con un modelo de negocio basado en Investigación y en Open Source que gestiona el proyecto completo de NGS.
