Join IE Venture Network Thursday, 12^th January 2012!

IE Venture Network has a main objective of providing resources and advice for entrepreneurs and innovation communities. Updated and useful feedback and conversations are one of our main missions in order to create a connection among the initial entrepreneurs and the potential investors and consolidated companies and make future dreams come true. All this in a friendly environment with some drinks and snacks to share it.

The Venture Network will hold a Pitch Slam in which 3 projects will have the opportunity to present their project to investors, including:

• Rafael Garrido, Jaime Amoribieta y Gonzalo Castellano, Vitamina K
• Sergio López, Addquity Growth Capital
• Gary Stewart, Director of Wayra Spain
• Patricia Gabaldon, Women Entrepreneurship in Europe; Prof. Economic Environment IE

The next Venture Network will be run in collaboration with Women Entrepreneurship in Europe – an alliance between Siemens and IE Business School created to promote successful entrepreneurship among young women in Europe.

The three startups that will present their project in 7 minutes will be:

Adoración López, Politia
Politia is an information management platform which facilitates seamless and integrated communication between the police force at a national level.  Not only is Politia a powerful management tool for police stations is also helps agents in their day to day tasks by introducing web 2.0 communication tools.

Beatriz Sigüenza, IDK-Factory
Companies nowadays need constantly to re-adapt, re-think and redesign their business, products and services to be competitive in the current demanding market.  IDK (Ideas Development Kit) is a tool in-a-box that enables a group of people to generate a lot of new ideas on a focus or problem to be solved.

Paloma Fuentes, TedCas
TedCas creates a new way to control the information systems inside hospitals, avoiding all contact with the computers, and thus reducing the risk of bacterial infection.

El próximo edición del Venture Network contamos con la colaboración de Women Entrepreneurship in Europe – una alianza entre Siemens e IE Business School creada para promover el éxito empresarial entre las mujeres jóvenes en Europa.

Politia es una plataforma de gestión policial que permitirá la comunicación e integración de la información de este sector a nivel nacional. No sólo es un potente sistema de gestión para las comisarías (lo cual ya es una clara necesidad), sino también una eficaz y usable herramienta facilitadora del trabajo diario de todos los agentes, en la línea de la nueva cultura 2.0.

Beatriz Sigüenza, IDK-Factory
En la actualidad las empresas necesitan constantemente readaptar, repensar y rediseñar su modelo de negocio, sus productos y servicios para ser competitivos en el exigente mercado actual.  IDK (Ideas Development Kit) es una herramienta in-a-box que permite a un grupo de personas generar muchas nuevas ideas sobre el foco o el problema a resolver.

Paloma Fuentes, TedCas
TedCas ofrece una nueva forma de controlar los sistemas de información en los hospitales, evitando el contacto con ordenadores y periféricos, reduciendo así el riesgo de infección.
