Fuelling Innovation – Investing in innovation based businesses

IE Business School, the Embassy of Israel in Spain, and the Israeli Spanish Chamber of Commerce has the pleasure of inviting you to ´Fuelling Innovation – Investing in innovation based businesses´ a talk from Ehud Levy, Managing Partner of Vertex Venture Capital.

Ehud Levy is a Managing Partner at Vertex Venture Capital (www.vertexvc.com ) with approximately two decades of experience in the Israeli high-tech industry. He has vast knowledge and expertise in the areas of investment and finance, management and operations, and entrepreneurship. Prior to Vertex, Ehud co-founded and was Chairman  & CEO of Ki-Bi Mobile Technologies, where he led the business from concept to commercial success, IPO in London, and eventual takeover. Previously, he served as COO and CFO of Telegate, a telecommunications company, where he played a major role in turning the company into a success story; as a result, the company was acquired for over $400 million by Terayon (TERN). Ehud also served as a private equity investor and an investment banker in New York and Tel Aviv, and has served on the BOD of several high-tech companies. Mr. Levy holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering (with honors) from the Technion, and an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
 
The event will be hosted by Israel’s Ambassador to Spain, His Excellency Alon Bar, Juan José Güemes, President IE Business School International Center for Entrepreneurial Management, and Gil Gildron, President Israeli Spanish Chamber of Commerce.

This is a very interesting event. I would love to assist, although I live in Barcelona and I do not think I will be able to go.
