The three startups that will present their project in 7 minutes will be:

Luis Miguel Torres, Agustín de Miguel, Francisco Ruiz, Isaac de Abreu, Alejandro Magaña, Luis Fernando Collazos, Universalia.net

University professors and master  lose contact with their students at the end of the studies. Another problem is that they lose time to manage courses.Universalia.net is a network of academic and professional contacts that integrates a course management system to facilitate interaction and learning. Merging Networking applications with E-Learning, as well as developing a business model that allows for competitive advantage to face new competitors in which one of them won Wayra in Mexico and another get $ 6 million usd funding in the U.S. in late 2011.

Alvaro Sastre, Talentous

It is the first social network where proffesionals and business can get their talent above. On the one hand, proffesionals will be able to discover their talent (these competences, attitudes and personality that make them different) in an objective way based on the results of free online tests and annonymous valuations get from others, know their ranking in the job market, get difference for a new CV 2.0 that shows not only who the person is but also how is and access to training courses and job offers according to their talento. Businesses will also be able to use Talentous in a corporate level and Human Resources Directors will be able to count on this social network for knowing theses characteristics that excel in each of their departments (competences, attitudes and personality), being able to be proactive in the selection and attracting talent showing their inside talent.

Maxime Droux, Neuvoo

Neuvoo (advises in Finnish) is online job aggregator based in Montreal, Canada. Neuvoo aims to become the “Google” of job solutions. Because there is no clear leader today when it comes to job search, we believe now is the best time to build a service that will become the clear choice for users when they come to search for new jobs. Currently, the dispersion of job posts in the market makes it very hard for job seekers to access all the available opportunities. Traditional job boards are flooded with recruitment agencies and contain only a fraction of all jobs (only paid job postings).  Specialized job sites are extremely scattered and offer even fewer opportunities. Finally, classic job aggregators (indeed, simply hired) almost exclusively aggregate job boards and large companies, hence adding little value to job seekers. Neuvoo is different. Thanks to a proprietary crawling technology called DragonAce, we managed to harvest over 85% of all job opportunities available on corporate companies’ websites in Canada. By excluding job boards and strictly limiting recruitment agencies offers to 10%, we aim to provide our users with the largest range of corporate job opportunities possible. This includes all jobs from small and midsize companies not currently present on any other websites. Harvesting these “hard to reach apples” is Neuvoo’s signature and represents one of our key competitive advantages.
